D-K Mfg. Corp. was founded in 1941 and has maintained a firm commitment to quality and craftsmanship and is on it's forth generation ownership. Combining our creative designers, our NY State certified tool and die makers, our well trained and informed set up personnel and operators, and a continued commitment to update our equipment, places us in a very competitive position. At D-K we consider ourselves a "full service" tooling and manufacturing facility. We have the capabilities to approach your program from concept and prototyping through final design to permanent tooling. Our creative office staff and ERP order entry system track all orders for real time data for just in time deliveries and Kan Ban shipments on a daily or weekly program. D-K can even run your progressive/draw dies if they need a home.
D-K has great experience in prototype and sort run stampings. The sort run method at D-K has a shorter lead time, ideal for faster delivery of projects that have been started to late, taking to long, or just don't require high volume production but the piece price needs to be low. In many cases short run stampings utilize the prototype tooling to produce parts before a progressive die can be built. This also is the way to go when it is not possible to invest in a large progressive die. Volumes can range from a few hundred parts to a few thousand.
